WHY DID YOU JOIN THE MILITARY? I joined the military to experience the world outside of my hometown and I knew that by joining the military, I would be serving my country and have financial security for me and my family. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE MILITARY? I have been in the military for three years. WHO IS THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON IN THE MILITARY AND WHY? All of my noncommissioned officers have been instrumental in my career. The one that stands out to me the most is Tech. Sgt. Nicole Lavalais. Her mentorship and friendship has been an invaluable source of strength and determination. I credit her for my success and growth as an Airman. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO IN THE LOCAL AREA? I enjoy eating the local cuisine and attending Mardi Gras festivities. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB? I like getting to meet new and interesting people and helping them meet their goals.
