An "All Things Military Basket" donated by Eighth Air Force receives one of the highest bids during the Barksdale Officers Spouses' Club silent auction luncheon held at the Barksdale Club on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 10. The basket consisted of books, a military T-shirt quilt, Eighth Air Force commander's coin, U.S. flag and an authentic ammo box just to name a few. The auction raised more than $2,100, which will be used to fund the Hap House holiday party.
