"Barksdale's library is wonderful," said Betty Duvall. "There are several programs and tools people can use here. I feel that the funds from the competition should go toward bringing in more books and computers for people to use. More room wouldn't hurt either. You can never have too many books." "The bowling alley on base is currently under renovation but could also use a few more additions," said retired Master Sgt. Donald Hughes. "Management is doing a great job keeping the facilities up to date but the money could go to renovating the bathrooms and getting new bowling equipment. Also, an updated arcade would be a nice addition for the Airmen and their families." (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Micaiah Anthony)(RELEASED)
"Our Airmen need alternatives when it comes to extracurricular activities," said Staff Sgt. Randy Reynolds, 2nd Munitions Squadron. "With the money from the competition, I would upgrade the movie theater with a new projection system, a better screen and comfortable seats. This would encourage Airmen to use the facility and give them another positive alternative when relaxing off-duty." (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Micaiah Anthony)(RELEASED)
"If I had the choice, I would invest in an indoor pool," said Senior Airman Cory Sandoval, 26th Operational Weather Squadron. "An indoor pool would give Airmen another alternative when it comes to working out. The pool could also be used for water aerobics and physical therapy, helping Airmen who are injured or on waivers stay in shape." (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Micaiah Anthony)(RELEASED)
