Jason McCasland 2nd Bomb Wing Public Affairs BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- Air Force personnel have a new website to give access to their personnel records and get more information such as promotions, benefits, retraining information and more. The new website; provides Airmen a secure link to personnel services information and transaction applications. It allows them to have access to the Personnel Records Display Application, and Airmen or users can view, print, and retrieve documents from their official record. "The myPers website is a convenient, single entry point into Air Force Personnel services where Airmen can get several different documents or find information that they normally go to the Military Personnel Section for," said 2nd Lt. Brittany Hicks, 2nd Force Support Squadron MPS Chief. "This website allows us to better assist our customers with issues that commonly occur with records, and answer questions more efficiently." MyPers has links to the virtual Military Personnel Flight that allows military members to view, print and update their virtual Record of Emergency Data, view and print their Federal Awards and Decorations, submit retirement applications, review their Data Verification Brief and more. The new site recognizes user's affiliation as officer, enlisted, civilian, Reserve or National Guard. In addition, Air Force Reserve and Guard members can use myPers to request duty history and military service date corrections, request a list of their current Federal Awards and Decorations, etc. This website establishes a unified total force brand for online personnel services and is available 24 hours a day.
