All indoor gatherings limited to 50 total people to prevent the spread of illness. Also maintain 6-foot distance from others.

For BAFB dorm residents:

• Limit gatherings in individual dorm rooms to ensure 6 feet physical distancing is maintained
• Limit dayrooms to 50% occupancy and maintain 6 feet physical distancing

Outdoor activities:

• The new Louisiana Governor's order also limits the size of social gatherings to fewer than 50 people indoors or 50% capacity of the facility. Outdoor social gatherings are also limited to 50 people if individuals cannot avoid being within six feet of one another. 
• Avoid activities requiring contact of shared objects and surfaces with persons who do not live in your residence

The BX and commissary are open to ALL beneficiaries with BX and DECA privileges with the following caveats:

• All patrons MUST WEAR face masks while in BX and commissary facilities
• The number of patrons in BX and commissary facilities at one time will not exceed 75 percent facility capacity

All Barksdale AFB services and MWR activities are authorized to reopen with the following caveats:

• All services and MWR activities will undergo a review of their public health procedures by 2 MDG Public Health. Services and MWR activities will not reopen without 2 MDG Public Health clearance to do so
• All services and MWR facilities are limited to 75 percent of their total capacity
• All services and MWR employees and all patrons will wear face masks in all services and MWR facilities and enforce strict physical distancing of 6 feet

Military members may use off-base gyms and fitness facilities with the following caveats:

• Practice physical distancing of 6 feet
• Military members will NOT participate in contact sports
• Adhere to the facility's sanitation protocols
• Practice good hygiene

Military members may attend on and off base religious services with the following caveats:

• The service is conducted in accordance with the Governor of Louisiana orders
• Maintain physical distancing of at least 6 feet between yourself and others who do not live in your residence

Please coordinate with supervisors and Squadron commanders to determine reporting options.

• If you are sick, stay home. Those who have flu-like symptoms are directed to report this information to their chain of command and call 318-456-6555.
•  
• Civilian reporting options (admin leave, sick leave, etc.) are complex. Commanders are working closely with the Civilian Personnel Office and all questions should be coordinated through supervisors and commanders.

A: For military member travel, leave/pass travel from BAFB is now permissible under the following conditions:

1. Before granting leave/pass periods, the member’s supervisor(s) must conduct a risk assessment and health status of the military member requesting travel.
2. For members on leave travel outside of the United States (i.e., all 50 states, district, and territories), supervisors will conduct a mandatory pre-departure briefing with the member prior to departure; this is documented on the “COVID-19 Pre-Departure Worksheet.” The member’s supervisor must sign the form. Copies of the pre-departure briefing will be maintained by the unit for pass periods and uploaded by the member into LeaveWeb for leave. If the member is on leave/pass and not leaving the United States, no “COVID-19 Pre-Departure Worksheet” is required.
3. Members should not travel if they are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or if they have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
4. Members will comply with all DOD, Federal, State, and local restrictions while in leave/pass status. DOD guidance and resources can be found at https://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/coronavirus. State and local restrictions can usually be found on the respective state’s Department of Health website.
5. Regular and special pass travel are limited to 8-hour driving radius from BAFB.
