BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- The Red River Dining Facility will be closed for approximately six months beginning June 4, due to heating, ventilating and air conditioning system repairs.
“These repairs will make for a much more comfortable and enjoyable working and dining experience,” said Dustin Schmidt, a business manager from the 2nd Force Support Squadron.
To ensure Airmen have access to meals during the DFAC closure, multiple facilities will be extending their hours. Airmen on the meal card will be able to eat at the following establishments:
Barksdale Club
Mon - Fri:
6 - 8 a.m., Breakfast
10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Lunch
4 - 7 p.m., Dinner
Sat - Sun:
6:30 - 8 a.m., Breakfast
10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Lunch
4 - 6:30 p.m., Dinner
Café 300/Bowling Alley
Mon - Fri:
6 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Sat - Sun:
6:30 a.m. - 12 a.m.
Fox Run
Sun - Sat:
6:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The Source
Mon - Fri:
6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Café 300, located in the Bowling Alley, has an application available to place orders for Airmen who are running short on time. Airmen can place their orders on the app, Café 300, in advance and pick it up when it’s ready. The application is available on the IPhone app store.
Anyone with base access can eat at these establishments.
