BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- The Air Force selected 47 of the 271 eligible 2nd Bomb Wing technical sergeants for promotion to the rank of master sergeant May 25, 2016.
The selection rate for the 2nd BW technical sergeants was 17.34 percent, with an average selectee overall score of 539.20. Average decorations score was 10.3, and the average board score was 377.23.
Among the 5,019 selectees of 21,504 eligible technical sergeants across the Air Force, the selectees' average time in grade was 4.04 years, while the average time in service was 14.59 years.
Test and board scores can be accessed through Virtual Military Personnel Flight site on the Air Force Portal via the secure app.

Selectees will be promoted in order of promotion sequence number beginning in August.
