Barksdale congratulates newest Lt. Col and Maj. selects

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. --  Fifty seven members of Team Barksdale were selected for promotion to the next rank in their careers March 29.

Air Force officials selected 439 of 813 eligible majors for promotion to lieutenant colonel for a selection rate of 54 percent this year.

Air Force officials also selected 2,463 of 3,161 eligible captains for promotion to majors for a selection rate of 78 percent this year.
