BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- As a reminder, base continues to be open for Official Business Only. However, when off-duty, Barksdale AFB personnel are instructed to adhere to Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards stay-at-home order directing residents to stay at home unless traveling for necessities and for the closure of all non-essential retail businesses to the public.
Base will continue to operate in line with the declared health emergency, HPCON B+, and for official business only guidance. Commanders are encouraged to utilize telework whenever possible for their units.
Official Business is classified as:
- Pharmacy
- Appointments at Mission Support Center
- Appointments at Medical Clinic
- Military Personnel Flight
- Residents of Barksdale
- Official Work
