CMSgt Christina Kelly is the Senior Enlisted Leader of the, 2d Medical Group, Barksdale Air Force Base (AFB), Louisiana. She is the primary advisor to the group commander on matters concerning the morale, welfare, readiness, effective utilization, training organization performance, and career progression in Air Force Global Strike Command’s largest accredited ambulatory clinic with a staff of 359 personnel providing multi-specialty outpatient clinical and emergency medical services in support of 31,000 beneficiaries. As a member of the executive staff, she participates in all phases of strategic planning, resourcing and the implementation of the group’s operational plan executing a 21-million-dollar enterprise supporting the medical and dental readiness of the 2d Bomb Wing, Headquarters Eight Air Force, Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command, and 39 associated units.
Chief Kelly enlisted in the Air Force in July 2001 and graduated from the United States Aerospace Medical Service Technician technical training course, Shephard AFB, Texas in March 2002. Her background includes various duties in the Aerospace Medicine career field, an Independent Duty Medical Technician, First Sergeant, Functional Manager and Senior Enlisted Leader roles. Chief Kelly’s assignments include Virginia, Texas, Japan, Florida, United Kingdom, California, and Louisiana. She has deployed in direct support of Operation’s IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, and INHERENT RESOLVE. Prior to her current position, Chief Kelly was the Aerospace Medical Services Functional Manager, 60th Medical Group, Travis AFB, California.
