Colonel Lance H. McInnish currently serves as the 2d Mission Support Group Commander, 2d Bomb Wing,
Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, where he commands over 1,900 Airmen and civilians while also
providing mission support services to B-52 aircraft and over 11,000 base and 25,000 retired
customers.
Colonel McInnish enlisted in the Air Force in 1996 and earned his commission through ROTC at the
University of South Alabama in 2000. He has led and served in a variety of positions at the
squadron, group, wing, Major Command, and Headquarters Air Force levels. Col McInnish has multiple
deployments throughout SW Asia. Prior to this assignment, he was the Budget Director for HQ Air
Force Materiel Command at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
