    Barksdale Family Housing offers the quality living your family deserves and the pricing and flexibility your family needs.  Located on Main Base made up of three neighborhoods and encompassing 1090 new, renovated and historic single family homes.  Amenities include a pool, 22 playgrounds, multiple resident events and a staff dedicated to serving you.  On base active duty residents receive school of choice for your family and have a A+ rated school district on the East Side.

  • Pet Registration and Policies

    Regarding your four-legged family members, no more than two (2) pets per household are allowed. All pets must be registered by the resident at the base veterinarian treatment facility within five (5) business days of occupying a unit or upon acquiring a new pet.

  • Base Education Office

    The Education Center offers professional guidance to enhance individual and mission readiness, educate and equip Airmen of available AF education programs and assist in preparing the world’s elite fighting force through education. The Air Force is a full-time job, but this doesn’t mean airmen should give up on their education and dreams. In fact, this is more of a reason to continue your education. While most will carry the load of student loans, airmen have a wide variety of options that can allow them to attend college for next to nothing. Even deployments don’t have to stop you from getting your education. Numerous schools have online classes and many deployment locations are offering education centers to help students.
