MISSION:  2nd AMXS maintains the 2nd Bomb Wing's fleet of 28 B-52s & supports the 307th Bomb Wing’s fleet of 20 B-52s sustaining worldwide conventional and nuclear combat operations while providing global response and sustained firepower in support of regional warfighting commanders. Over 800 professional maintenance technicians support three aircraft maintenance units including active and reserve associations and six Operations Squadrons including a Formal Training Unit.

Buffing the Buff
