PANJSHIR PROVINCE, Afghanistan - Master Sgt. Timothy Godwin, Panjshir Provincial Reconstruction Team maintenance NCO-in-charge, loads rice onto a truck as Sergeant 1st Class Michael Granville spots him. The rice was delivered to 320 local Afghan families who live in the remote village of Dara. The PRT's primary mission is to rebuild Afghanistan and promote U.S. and Afghan relationships. Sergeant Godwin is deployed from the 2nd Logistic Readiness Squadron, Barksdale Air Force Base, La., and Sergeant Granville is deployed from the 451st Civil Affairs Battalion, Pasadena Texas.
