SHREVEPORT, La. – Homeowners Ralph and Michelle Hart welcome guests to their newly constructed home prior to a dedication ceremony May 6. The Hart family was chosen to receive a Habitat for Humanity house after leaving New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. Over the course of the 22-day construction, more than 100 military personnel from Barksdale Air Force Base and the Shreveport Military Entrance Processing Station volunteered their time to give the Harts a new home.
