Judge Advocate - Licensed attorneys offer confidential legal assistance consultation to active duty, dependents of active duty, retired military members, dependents of retirees, Reserve/Guard troops on active duty orders and their dependents. 6 AMW/JA attorneys assist members with self-representation; research applicable state laws; and provide advice on marriage, dissolution of marriage or divorce, child support, child custody, property distribution, landlord-tenant, and other related civil law matters.

Provide resources both on and off MacDill and also assistance in navigating key local, state and federal resources. We assist all branches of the military!
Respite Care – Respite care is short-term specialized child care designed for families who have children diagnosed with special needs and helps to reduce the stressors associated with caring for an EFM. When enrolled in the EFMP, Air Force Respite Child Care provides Active duty, Guard and Reserve families up to 40 hours of free care per month per child. Sibling care is also available at no cost. Coordination with respective agency for Non-Air Families is required.
EXCEPTIONAL FAMILY MEMBER PROGRAM (EFMP-MEDICAL):
EFMP-Medical - Assistance and services to family members with special medical or educational needs, to include spouses, children and dependent adults who require special medical services for a chronic condition; requires ongoing services from a medical specialist, have significant behavioral health concerns, and receive early intervention or special education services through an individualized education program or individualized family service plan.

ALCOHOL & DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT
Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT) – ADAPT promotes readiness, health, and wellness through the prevention and treatment of substance misuse and abuse, to minimize the negative consequences of substance misuse and abuse to the individual, family, and organization. Services include outreach, education, prevention programs, screening, assessment and consultation as well as initiatives to prevent future alcohol misuse, prescription drug misuse, or drug use; preventive counseling, and tailored feedback to individuals or groups. Provides evidence-based substance use disorder treatment for individuals who are abusing or are dependent on alcohol or drugs. Self-referrals are encouraged.
