Relocation is a vital part of assuring a mission ready, well-trained military force and while military members and their families may move frequently, the process can be still be challenging. The goal of the Relocation Assistance Program (RAP) is to provide relocation knowledge and resources for all Department of Defense (DoD) employees and their families in an effort to ensure successful moves and reduce the anxiety, stress and negative financial impact related to the moving process. Careful planning and preparation are essential.

Discovery Resource Center - Individual Consultations & Move Planning

Loan Locker - It sometimes happens that household goods are late to arrive or you arrive before they are delivered. The Family Services Loan Locker is available to help with essential kitchen items, futons, and more. Just call or stop by to see how we can help. All items are available for loan for up to 30 days.

SITES (Standard Installation Topic Exchange Service) - This resource provides up to date information on the local area and the base. Please review the information and identify any additional resources or information you might need to make you move as successful and stress free as possible.

Additional Internet Resources on Finances and Relocation - Relocation can often be more expensive than we anticipate. It is very important to plan in advance for additional financial needs and to seek assistance if finances become overwhelming. The Personal Financial Management Program can assist you with advance planning or you may contact the Airman and Family Readiness Center for more information. The following web sites are useful in planning for the financial aspects of relocation.
