9/5/2012 - Bataan Death March Survivors and their family members eat dinner with Barksdale Air Force Base, La., leadership at Boomtown Casino, Bossier City, La., Sept. 3. The Bataan Death March occurred during World War II in 1942. After American and Filipino forces surrendered to Japanese forces at the Battle of Bataan, the prisoners of war were forced to march more than 70 miles to Camp O'Donnell. After the march, many of the POWs who survived were forced to spend years inside internment camps before being released. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Benjamin Gonsier)(RELEASED)
