Team Mildenhall supports B-52 deployment

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- A formation of KC-135 Stratotankers, assigned to the 100th Air Refueling Wing, refueled a B-52 Stratofortress from Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Sept. 27, 2017, over the Mediterranean Sea.  The B-52s conduct routine deployments that support the United States’ mission to maintain ready and postured forces on land, in the air and at sea. Part of the training during this deployment included releasing inert ordnance while flying in controlled airspace areas of the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
